“I know you don’t want me to show up at the Melendez household; let alone in front of

Emmett! So, you plot and scheme. You better figure out a way for me to leave the

Melendez family as soon as possible then!”

Leah watched Clara’s facial expressions closely, noting that she didn’t seem to be lying.

With a cold laugh, she retorted, “I’ll come up with a solution, but don’t you dare play any

tricks?”

Then she pulled out a packet of white powder from her pocket, “Here, this is the antidote!

Give it to Emmett to drink. I don’t care how you do it, but you better not let him find out!

Because this antidote isn’t a one-time cure, if Emmett finds out, there won’t be a next

Clara quickly reached out to take the antidote, cradling it carefully in her hands. “When

are you planning to fully cure Emmett?”
