Leah returned her grip, smiling gently, “I’ll listen to you. I’ll respect your wishes.”

“Good girl, I’ll ask the doctor. If it’s okay, I’ll take you home today! Who knows when Emmett will be back? I hope

Leah nodded, “Thank you, Mrs. Sophia.”

“Don’t mention it. I’m doing this for Emmett and my grandchildren, too.”

Clara looked up at the grand mansion. Her mind was a whirlwind of thoughts.

His words implied that she should stop testing Emmett’s limits.

“Matt, go get her back!”

Clara stared blankly at Emmett. She knew that coming back this time, Emmett would have found all sorts of ways
