Emmett stood up, got himself a glass of red wine and savored it slowly. “The kids are getting along fine

with their stepmom now. You showing up will just stir up trouble”

Leah stormed over, her emotions running high. “But a stepmom will never be their real mom! You need

to think about how the kids feel too. You can’t just be happy as their dad and assume they’re happy tool
