“Oh Skylar, you’re here!”

Naomi could not stop crying when she saw Skylar. It was as if she was a bullied child to finally meet her

parents.

reputation improved to such an extent already?”

Some of them gasped when they could not contain their emotions anymore.

Naomi’s friends immediately shook their heads at her, telling her to not give up on the marriage for

Skylar.

Although they were surprised by the expensive necklace Skylar gave her, they knew that the Stephenson

family were more powerful then. Besides, they understood that some connections could not be bought.

However, just as everyone assumed that Skylar was undoubtedly losing the argument, Mr. Lawson got

up and greeted Skylar with a bow and exclaiming with a very loud voice, “Greetings,

Mr. Stone!”

The entire room was instantly silenced after that. Everyone was completely stunned by such a display.

They were all second guessing what they heard.

“Mr. Lawson, you’re…” Mandy’s smile grew stiff in that instant.

However, before Mr. Lawson could say anything, the others got up and greeted Skylar with a bow,

“Greetings, Mr. Stone!”

Every one of them got up and greeted Skylar very politely.

It turned out that they were all there to meet the bride, Naomi. Although they had never met Naomi

before, they knew that she was Skylar’s sister. This reason alone was enough to convince

them to come.

They only showed up uninvited to meet Skylar. Apparently, they had never even heard of the

Stephenson family or their wedding.
