Cole wouldn't admit it, but it almost seemed as if he was in some sort of western flick, the look the Dremonai sent his way was enough to make most men shiver and shit their pants. If you look at them a little closer it is obvious that they fall under a lot of the weird spectrum. Never the less after the call for a champion was made, Cole stepped forwards, placing a hand on Irma's shoulders and then tapping her a few times. She took a deep breath and took a step back as Cole clapped his hands before speaking, his voice still masked by his mask and making him sound ominous.

"I'm not here to seek trouble, in fact I would very much love it if we could all just get along. Please can't you like just let us through this one time for the normal tax rates, we'll make sure to make up the difference later." Cole said, trying his best to be as polite as he could possibly could, but all he got in return was a sneer and a glob of spit flying towards his face. Cole furrowed his eyebrows in annoyance as he moved to the side and evaded the silvery looking saliva that had quite a bit of shimmer in it as it landed on the ground with a silent squelch.

Cole was annoyed, but he held himself back, there was a way things were done here. And this was a super powered world, there was no telling just what sort of abilities was waiting for him within the rapidly growing army and populace of the Dremonai. No…. If he had to get past them in order to achieve his goals then he would not hesitated to do what was necessary and this was necessary.

"I take it that you are the person that they have chosen to die….. or the person who made that choice himself, either way I don't care, if you're the one I'm fighting then step up and die quickly, my patience wears thin." Cole said as he pulled out Blue Obsidian and much to the shock of everyone, emptied it of bullets then held the gun in reverse.

The Dremonai champion scoffed then shook his head as he stretched his hand backwards and in direction of their homes. There was a dull hum followed by a whoosh as a pitch black spear flew through the air to end up in his hand. Cole heard Irma gasp loudly behind him as the Dremonai gave him a rather nasty looking grin, he cocked his head to the side and raised an eyebrow in the process, a move that more than proved that Cole did not find the Dremonai threatening at all, not even a little bit.

The Dremonai scoffed. "I find your paltry show of resistance and lack of fear extremely amusing. It is now very obvious to me that you have no idea what you are facing, allow me then to enlighten you on the folly of your ways, it would not do for you to go to your death without the least bit of knowledge of what caused, or rather what it came from." The Dremonai said as he pointed the spear in the direction not Cole who just kept on looking at him.

"This is 'Methu!' short for Methuselah! A spear that was forged from a pine tree over 10 thousand years old from a lost dimension. It's power is beyond compare, and is the most powerful weapon on our world, it is due to its power that we're able to keep the hordes of undead at bay and it is very fickle in choosing who it serves for it is a weapon that grows and is bound to whatever master it chooses.

It's power is one that can call for the power of the earth, of green, and wood, life and immortality, as long as I hold it, there is nothing you can do to kill me." Cole was bored but at the same time his eyes glinted with greed as he stared at the spear with a hunger that was equally mirrored by the black sword that buzzed behind his waist.

"Alright then weird creature….. let us put your gift of immortality to the test, and see just who would come out on top." The Dremonai rushed him, his voice undulating in a weird battled cry that for a moment stunned Cole, as he crossed the distance between them in a second and stabbed his spear towards Cole's chest. Cole took a step back, however his [Sin Seeking Eyes] forced his body to react as he pivoted on his heels, moving to the left as a massive wooden spike surged up out of the earth.

If he had not moved then this fight would have ended far quicker than it started. He was trying to get a grasp of his opponents abilities. Honestly speaking if the mercenaries were so worried about the Dremonai that Irma would have to swallow whatever pride she had to ask for his help, 8t meant that they were dangerous. The best way to pull out the capability of the Dremonai combatant was to have try to end the fight quickly in an attempt to curb Cole's own arrogance in holding an unloaded gun in a reverse grip against what was most definitely a legendary weapon on the level of [Black Malakai].

The Dremonai spun the spear as it whirled within his grasp and shot forwards to his throat, spinning rapidly like a drill as it attempted to make a hole with Cole's body. Cole used the butt of Blue Obsidian to smash the spear out of the way, but there was a powerful feedback from the parry as he was pushed backwards his feet drawing skid marks on the ground as pine needles shot out of his hand, leaving it very bloody and mangled.

Everyone present let out collective gasps as the Dremonai cheered. They were all almost whipped up into a frenzy at the sight of Cole's blood touching the ground, but it was not just them….. the sight of his own blood out of his body, made Cole angry to the point that his saw red….his Eyes them flashed scarlet, startling the Dremonai, to him it was as if he was looking at the very depths of evil.

And perhaps he was right, the aura of malevolence that settled on Cole's shoulder was so thick everyone around felt it. It was hard not to, at the moment he was absolutely brimming with untapped potential and power, all to the point of nearly bursting out with it. The Dremonai was nothing more than a worm in the face of absolute power, and Cole was more than happy to prove it.

The skill was focused, it's intensity this time was so powerful that there was displacement of the air as the Dremonai stumbled to the side. Cole moved forward and seemingly crossed the distance in a single step as he used [Spectral Rover] his hands wrapping around the neck of the still taller Dremonai much to the shock of everyone and then he used [Sin Eater].

It was as if the world went crazy, there was a loud boom as immediately wave after wave of green energy surged out of the Dremonai, rushing straight into Cole's body, as he drank upon what was seemingly and endless pool of vitality. The Dremonai screamed, but he couldn't move as he was stuck in a constant circle of rebirth and rejuvenation. As Cole drained him of his energy, the spear fed life back into his body only for Cole to keep dragged it out in his body, taking all of it and making it his home. There was flurry of notifications that made Cole roll his eyes in annoyance because quite frankly it was almost as if everything he did was designed to make him stronger, And he did feel stronger.

The Raen Demon race was or rather is a race of energy vampire demons. Well he wasn't a vampire but that was the best way to describe his sheer ability to take on the energy and vitality of anyone and anything he faced, and Cole had this inkling that perhaps it was not just limited to people but even technology would fall to this ability. By this point the Dremonai had fallen to his knees, even if there was no damage on his body, it was very obvious that his body could no longer take the onslaught of draining and refilling he was going through. And then he made a mistake, he dropped the spear.

The moment he dropped the spear Cole let go of the [Sin Eater] skill and looked down on the Dremonai as he looked up at Cole, none of the earlier bravado he had on his face. Instead all that could be seen was a look of absolute horror and fear. Cole smiled as he raised blue Obsidian up into the air then brought it crashing down on the head of the Dremonai. Then he did it again and again, and again and again. A crazed smile on his lips as blood, gore and brain matter splattered all over his body, the Dremonai was dead long before Cole regained the clarity of thought to stop bashing into his ruined skull….as for Cole he got up looked around then down at the body and said.

"I'm so sorry, it seems I've made a bit of a mess here…..umm can I have a bucket? And a mop to if you don't mind"
