Cole was a lot of things now, Faster, stronger, more resilient, but what was truly going for him now was his speed of thinking. It was absolutely integral; as that was the only thing still keeping them both alive. Their bodies moved through the veil, nothing more than blurs to the naked eye as Cole ran across the ruined interior of the mega construction he was in.

His form flickered as he bounced of a pillar that was leaning across the ruins of what seemed to be some sort of government office. Cole didn't care as he twisted his body in the air, drawing the commander's body close to his own as he went in between the gaps on beams that made up a massive cell tower.

The wind rushed through his ears and hair as the sounds of massive crashes was still being heard behind him. Eventually Cole made it to what he considered the end of the factory to be. At the rear of the building was a massive tunnel that sloped downwards a bit. By this point the creature seemed to have redoubled its effort, whatever it thought Cole was with is ability to move around really fast, it was intent on putting an end to him.

Cole burst out into the tunnel, his heart hammering deep in his chest as the commander dragged herself away from him and unceremoniously regurgitated all of her breakfast from this morning. Cole scrunched his face up in disgust about to give a derisive snort when he too doubled over and hurled, vomiting as he had pushed his body to the absolute limit it could withstand with the usage of the [Spectral Rover] and [Shadow Dance] skill to get away from this monster.

While Cole was now much stronger he was not yet invisible. There was only so much push that could be given to utilize a skill before it becomes too much of a strain for your body to handle, even if you had an overabundance of energy to use in utilizing the skills. Cole wasn't exactly sure what his hard limit was, which was why training would be quite important once he gets a chance for it. But until such a time, all that he cared about was remaining alive for as long as possible.

He grabbed the commander again about to use [Spectral Rover] once more as the monstrosity was still right on their heels. But a sharp pain lanced through Cole's core as he crashed to the ground, his body shuddering from the intensity of it as the commander dragged him and threw one of his arm over her shoulder. She didn't say anything as she dragged him towards what was a partially covered armored truck half the size of a monster truck and extremely imposing to look at with the massive Gatling/plasma gun placed on top the hood of the car.

"You don't spam a skill as hard as you have just done, that is a one way ticket to painful death. You need to let your body acclimate to and rest from the onslaught of energy you just put it through. You have hit your limits, but the next time you intend to spam teleportation and movement skills like that, it should be a lot easier for you. But still I can't help but ask…. How much energy do you have?" she asked in shock as she strapped Cole to the passenger seat and started the truck, driving further down into the tunnel as the missives chunks of concrete began to fall from the sky.

Cole turned to look at her, wincing as he did so as rough movements seemed to make the pain and tightness he was feeling in his chest a lot worse than he had expected. "A lot….like way too much for my current level." He replied causing her further confusion as she dragged the wheel of the car to the side hard, evading a pile of concrete rubble.

There was a massive groan behind him as Cole realized that the tunnel was not crashing down into nothing as he had expected, even more so was the fact that the creature was no longer following them…. Or at least not in the traditional sense as the went by a rather quick bend and a massive tentacle with a mouth filled with serrated and ring fangs smashed into the size of the truck hard enough to actually lift it off the ground.

There was a chance that it would tip over, but a quick use of [Gravity] from Cole was enough to right the car as the commander floored it, picking up speed as the massive gun on top of the car whirled, rotated and then began to spit lead and lasers at the flesh appendage following after them.

"The chute is made from some of the most reinforced materials on the planet. Apart from its original functions it would also serve as an escape route should a crisis of any sort ever arise within the tower? That thing would not be able to send its main body after us, and after a certain level we will be sure to lose it, but until then the best thing we can do is move away from as much of its bulk as we possibly can, that way it would stop sensing us."

Cole couldn't say anything else in response as another tentacle flew down from god knows where and smashed into the front of the Truck, denting its hood and almost flipping it over as its rear end was raised into the air while the truck skidded forward on its nose for over a dozen meters. One again Cole had to rely on his [Gravity] skill to keep them alive.

He flung his hand outside, releasing a [Chaos Blast] that went straight for the gaping maw of another tentacle mouth. The explosion was spectacular as a spray of blood and ruined flesh painted the back of the truck as it went on ahead. But it was far from over as a leap over the top of a decline exposed them both to a mass of tentacles waiting for them at the end of the ramp, with their path forward completely blocked.

"Fuck!" the commander cursed as the gun on top of the truck opened fire with an absolute vengeance. Wild screeches filled the air as the tentacles were all being ripped apart at a speed that was visible to the naked eye. But that was enough as it seemed as if there was way too much mass, they drove into what was literally a tunnel of tentacles, with each and every single one of them snapping and hitting the truck in an attempt to throw it off.

Cole took a deep breath, and pushed the limits of his imagination, creating and summoning a [Chaos Blast] above the roof of the car and away from his body. The ball of chaotic energy rippled, like the insides of an angry volcano. Then it exploded taking a massive chunk of the Truck's roof with it. The blast seemed to spread a wave that sunk into all of the tentacles around the truck and spread, going deeper even through the numerous layers.

For a moment all of the tentacles froze, none of them could make any sort of move the commander placed her assault rifle outside and started firing, hoping to destroy a path through before they smashed into the wall of tentacles, more so now after a certain 'Someone' utilized a skill that ripped the roof of the truck along with the powerful gun on top of it that had been keeping them safe. Cole had a sheepish look on his face as he noticed a sudden change.

There was a spread of black veins all around the tentacles, they had suddenly appeared and spread in the blink of an eye. And not a moment too late as they smashed into the tentacle wall. But instead of going into hard flesh, they went into a brittle king of soft flesh that broke apart in a shower of infected black blood and rotted flesh. And that was when they heard the screeches and roars of pain filling the air.

*SkeeeeeeRiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!"

Cole couldn't help but shudder at what he was hearing, but there was no time to pay attention to what the monster was feeling. Somehow the tentacle had led them back into the building and away from the tunnel, and as the burst out they found that they had been heading straight for a giant toothy maw on a baseball pitch likewise filled to the brim with the fucking Undead, and more than a few of them were flying in the air

"Oh Fucking Shit!" Cole cursed out loud as the commander made a hard left, the monstrosity seemed more preoccupied with the pain it was feeling as it rapidly recoiled, its massive bulk moving away from them in such a shocking manner that Cole did not even have a word with which to describe the scene…. It was just really weird…. And scary, but now they had to deal with zombies…..super powered zombies!

It wasn't too long after that thought that the first zombie attacked by shooting lasers from its eyes right at Cole and the commander….. This shit was fucked…. Super powered zombies….. Who fucking does that!
