“Mind your conduct!”

Iris rolled her eyes charmingly at Leon and saw the wound on his palm. Concerned, she asked, “How’s

the wound on your hand, by the way? We have an infirmary here in our company. Let me bring you

there.”

Leon hesitated for a moment because the injury on his hand was just a skin injury and it was nothing

serious.

Then again, getting the wound cleaned up at the

Leon paid full attention to Gracie’s careful guidance and an afternoon passed in the blink of an eye.

When it was time to get off work, Leon was in a buoyant

mood as his mind was filled with thoughts of Iris’s

beauty. He made his way to the parking lot while humming a random song.

“Wait up, Mister Wolf…” a crisp voice came from behind.

It was Lily, who trotted over from afar with a flush face.

“Is something the matter, Miss Cameron?”

Leon frowned and glanced unhappily at Lily. He did not take kindly to Lily anymore after her ungrateful

behavior earlier.

“I’m sorry for what I said earlier. It was all my fault. I’d like to apologize to you…” Lily bowed to Leon.

“You don’t need to apologize again. You’ve already done so in the office,” Leon said indifferently.

“I know that, but I genuinely hope to receive your forgiveness…” Lily bit her lip. Her mind was a complete

mess all afternoon, and she continued to feel ill at ease. because she was trying to figure out a way to
