Nanette felt a vibe from Allison that was familiar and gentle, polite and unassuming, not like those

women who usually buttered her up. So, she wanted to get

“Allison, you know Nanette?” Payton asked curiously.

entered the entertainment industry right after school, and she just won a popular newcomer award a

few days ago.”

Allison really didn’t know. So, Nanette is a popular star.

She didn’t really keep up with celebrity news. She used to spend most of her time studying and working

because of Grace’s illness.

“I didn’t steal anything” Ashley said, wiping her tears. “How could I steal such an expensive diamond

bracelet from where I work?”

Allison sighed. She knew that.

Allison asked Payton to stay with Ashley, checked the time and said, “I need to get back to the room.

We’ll talk more after work.”

When Allison returned to the room, Nanette asked for her contact info.
