“Do you think I need your protection?” Dominic knocked Austin’s head and said bluntly, “More like you’re going to mess things up
for me.”
“Hey! Uncle Dom, I—”
Dominic interrupted, “What will you do while I hypnotize the old gal? Sing her a lullaby? Do you think I can hypnotize her with you
hanging around?”
Austin was stumped.
“I’m going to hypnotize her, not move furniture. I don’t need you.” Dominic then turned to Alexander. “Give me two days to

prepare. I need to return to my estate to take care of something.”
Alexander nodded. “Okay. If you need anything, just let me know.”

Yasmin remained quiet for a long while, seeming to have fallen asleep until the sound of a car engine echoed from downstairs.
She opened her eyes slightly and glanced downstairs, probably disturbed by the noise.
Her position offered the view of the gate, but since she was in a wheelchair, she could see nothing. She grunted and moved her
body, saying, “How long was I asleep?”

“Not long, Your Majesty,” Rick answered gently, “Only about an hour.”
“An hour, huh? I felt like I slept for a long time. That was a good nap.” Feeling slightly numb, she stretched her neck and looked
over her shoulder at Rick. “It’d be wonderful if I could sleep that well every day,” she said thoughtfully.
As she got old, she realized having proper sleep had become a luxury.
Rick was not good with words, unlike Fred. Hence, the former remained silent. If Fred were around, he would surely try to flatter
Yasmin and tell her she was still young. However, Rick simply continued guarding her..
