From the front desk, Edwin got the key to the suite Ada and Tail had booked earlier.

He pushed open the door and saw a room filled with gifts given by Miles. Rug dolls, colorful princess dresses, and

even streaming equipment.

Edwin gritted his teeth. That brat had sided with outsiders.

Despite knowing that the Tail was the child of Joanne and another man, he still treated her so well.

"Move everything out!" Edwin ordered in a cold voice.

Lucas surveyed the room full of gifts, which resembled a children's supermarket. He swallowed, asking, "All of

them? Where should we take them? These things seem quite expensive."

Edwin's temples popped, and he said, "To Mason Estate. Give them to Puffy and tell Catelyn that Miles had used 10

million dollars of my money to buy gifts for a female streamer. If she doesn't keep the boy in check, he will grow up

into a playboy."

Lucas felt awkward. 'Is Mr. Atherton wrestling with Miles?'

"Yes, sir." Lucas suppressed his inner thoughts and called out to his subordinates to move the gifts.

As he groaned about working as a porter, he heard Edwin coldly say, "Go and find out when Tail came to Sapphire

Lucas nodded repeatedly. "Will do."

Lucas moved fast. Within ten minutes after he called the technology department, he obtained Tail and Ada's flight

information.

Edwin stared at the entry time and sneered silently.

It appeared Joanne didn't take him seriously.

The timing was clearly planned. No wonder she had seemed a little guilty over the past few days.

Joanne took Tail to Jack's villa.

Edwin had sent Ada to the police station. Sapphire City was his turf and not somewhere Ada was familiar with.

Edwin deliberately blew things out of proportion and pressed false charges against her. Now Jack had to bring a

lawyer to bail her out.

"This is my private villa. There are bodyguards and a housekeeper. As long as you don't leave, Edwin won't dare

break in," Jack said before hurrying away.

Joanne was grateful for Jack's help and worried about Ada.

She hoped that Ada would be safe and released soon.

While she was lost in thought, she heard Tail's stomach gurgling.

Tail squatted on the ground, covered her stomach with both hands, and tried to cover up her embarrassment. "My

stomach didn't sing. You heard it wrong."

Joanne was amused by her behavior. Tail was so cute.

She picked Tail up I and sat down on the sofa.

"Stay here and watch TV. I'll cook for you. What would you like to eat?"

Tail licked her lips and spoke with glittering eyes. "Anything. As long as it's cooked by you."

"Mr. Brown instructed us to take good care of you guys before he left. I'll ask the chef to prepare food," the

housekeeper said as she approached.

"It's okay. I have nothing else to do anyway." There weren't many servants in the villa, and Joanne was used to

cooking her own food.

Seeing Joanne's insistence, the housekeeper didn't say anything else.

The housekeeper hadn't been with Jack for long but had seen him bring girls to different occasions.

All of them were stunning beauties, like flowers on display.
