Chapter 659

Sean sat on the couch, looking at the indifferent Yves sitting across from him. Then, he

asked, “I’m a patient now. Can you bear to see me treat myself?”

“Either leave or shut up.” Yves displayed his dislike for Sean.

Sean sighed and applied the medicine himself.

He could not understand why Yves treated him coldly when he was generally more gentle

and laid–back with others.

After all, he was here to apologize and make amends for what happened before.

The phone kept ringing, but Sean ignored it.

Yves said, “It’s Cynthia’s call.”

Sean was taken aback and thought about rejecting the call, but after some consideration,

he decided to answer it

“Hello, Ms. Yates.”

“When will you be back?” Cynthia got straight to the point. “I want to bring Joshua for a

follow–up check and discuss his recovery with you.”

“Well…” Sean glanced at Yves..

Cynthia asked, “What’s wrong?”

Sean was in pain as he replied, “I’m probably busy for a while. I have some personal

matters to deal with.”

“How long will it take to sort out?”

“Not sure yet.

need my help?” Cynthia just wanted Sean to return as soon as possible.

“No need,” Sean refused straightforwardly and explained the situation to her, “At the

latest, I should be done by the end of February. You don’t have to worry too much about

Joshua’s condition; it’s all minor issues.”

“Okay, call me when you come back” Cynthia did not say much.

“Sure,”

Sean’s attitude was very good.

After hanging up the phone, Sean smiled and teased, “Why are you staring at me like

that?”

“You’re clearly fine. Why lie to her?” Yves stared at him.

“Who told you I’m fine?” Sean did not care about the pain and walked toward Yves,

propping one hand behind the couch and getting very close to him. “I’m busy with the

most significant matter in my life.”

Crack!

Yves grabbed his arm and twisted it. In the blink of an eye, Sean’s homes nude a cracking

sound.

Sean was in excruciating pain, sweating profusely. “Ouch! It hurts! It lunts!”

“Still talking nonsense?” Yves, no longer appearing groggy, exuded a chilling aura.

“I’m not talking nonsense. I came to find you to resolve our issues,” Sean cried out in pain,

completely losing his composure.

The cold aura around Yves surged, looking more hostile than before. Then, he shook off

Sean’s hand, stood up, and coldly uttered a single word, “Get out.”

called after him.

Yves ignored him and walked toward his room, clearly uninterested in saying more.

Sean blocked him and said, “I really came to find you this time. 1…”

“Get out.”

“Can’t you let me finish what I have to say?

“I don’t want to repeat myself.”

“I know the past has caused you a lot of pain, and all these years, you’ve never liked me.

But believe me, this time I really Sean felt he must tell Yves everything today.

Thud!

Yves punched him
