Nobody thought Bonnie would slap Sydney so savagely.

Sydney covered her face and stared daggers at Bonnie. “H–How dare you slap me? I can’t believe you

will I live, knowing she slapped me at my age? I should just kill myself!”

Gunnar felt annoyed but helpless. He looked at Ivor. “Maybe Bonnie should…”

“Flynn brought this on himself,” said Ivor blankly.

Bonnie looked at him. She thought he would take his relatives‘ side and leverage this situation to call

off their agreement and never see her again. She didn’t think he would support her instead.

“H–Hey, Ivor. You can’t…”

“I might have been further away, but I clearly saw Flynn moving in on my wife with bad intentions.”

“Is that true?” Gunnar glared at his son.

Flynn gritted his teeth and said, “That wasn’t what happened, Ivor. I went over there because I wanted

to get some food. She was the one who slid up to me and rubbed her body against mine.

“She said she didn’t want to go back to her old life now that your engagement was ending. She even

said she’d do anything as long as I accepted her. But there was no way I’d do that.
