[The harder it is, the better the result]

[For every successful win of the first round, an awarded point of 1000 would be added]

Even though the point was tempting, he did still understand what was at stake to get them.

The same hovering silver cup materialized beside him.

Reaching into a hovering silver cup, Hisha pulled out three pieces of paper and handed them over to Kritz.

Taking his seat, he made a mental preparation on what names would be called.

"Piteia Naurian, Avina Rox, and Pesa Jynx." He announced.

Pesa got to her feet first, staring straight at Hisha for his fulfillment of the bargain.

[Someone looks a bit hyper for the tournament]

Hisha could see it for himself and had to agree.

Returning Pesa's ability, her blue eyes glowed as she tried to locate the other two who had been called on alongside her.

Walking into the middle of the arena, she was dressed in a knee-length black dress with a plunging neckline that reached down to her navel.

Double slits on her dress reaching up to her thighs.

Fingerless gloves and a pair of black wedges.

All tribal chiefs were on their edges as they watched Pesa wait for the rest to join her in the arena.

Slowly and reluctantly, the others walked in.

Piteia had her black hair tied up in a messy bun, her vicious green eyes focused on who she had considered a little bit too forward for her liking–Pesa.

Pointing a finger at her, she scoffed. "You seem to forget that this is a tournament not just about your abilities but of your brains too."

Pesa tilted her head to focus her attention on Avina who stood idly by without saying a word. "Do you also feel the same way as she does?"

Avina's lips drew into a thin line as she was caught in the middle of these two.

"The rules still hold out, but this time there has been a bit of change to the number of participants and so will the condition to be met." Kritz cut in with a loud voice.

Putting a hold on their little disputes, they raised their heads to listen to what conditions needed to be met.

"It is up to the middle participant to choose who to team with against the other," Kritz explained.

Avina facepalmed the moment she understood that she was the one who had been called in second and therefore the one in place to choose between the other two.

"If the two who team against the remaining participant wins, they both win that round, but if not their lives all depends on the latter if to be spared or not."

Piteia cackled at the fun she could get from the new rule. "Surely you would pick a Fay over me, who knows what monstrosity she hides under that pale skin of hers."

Pesa clenched her fists as she held back her boiling rage at being looked down on just because they were meant to fight against one another.

'We would see who hides monstrous things underneath.' She glared at Piteia and looked over to Avina who looked like she was having a hard time choosing.

Avina glanced between the two, unsure of who she could trust to lead her to victory. There was little known about what a Fay could do but that wasn't the same with Piteia who was known as a siren with a voice to 'die' for.

"Would you just pick a side? This is getting a little tiring!" Pesa snapped, taking a lotus position on the floor.

Hisha could already tell there was something Pesa was hiding and she was good at it.

Her position wasn't just about being bored, but harboring something sinister and waiting to strike.

Avina felt more inclined to go with who she knew, "I go with Piteia."

'Your loss.' Pesa let out a subtle chuckle at the choice which looked to others to put her in a tight position.

Piteia burst out in a peal of crazed laughter, "you silly little Fay, today marks your end!"

Pesa let out a sigh and locked her gaze with Piteia. 'Reveal the monster from within!'

Piteia grimaced as she held her throat and her fingers began to tremble as she struggled to be in control.

"W... what did you do?"

Pesa tilted her head and feigned ignorance, "do what?"

Avina took three steps back, as she watched in horror the very partner she had picked easily get controlled by the calm and collected Pesa.

Scratch!

Piteia's claws made four scratch marks on her neck which made her let out a blood-curdling pain.

Blood trailed down her neck in thick dark colors.

Avina had wanted to try attacking when she felt brought to her knees.

There was a loud gasp from the crowd at what they had witnessed and the silence that engulfed it was deafening.

Wae clapped his hands, glad he had picked on a recommendation by a letter he had received from an unknown source.

All attention was drawn to the grinning Lycan tribe leader. He didn't show any sort of guilt for what he had done and scoffed at the attention he received.

Leaning to the left, Vanas whispered through the corner of his lips, "how the hell did you find such a dangerous harem member without being a victim of that?!"

Scrunching up his nose and taking pride in his nature, he replied in a like manner, "you seem to forget that I am a manipulative person, I have some other tricks up my sleeve."

"Hmmm..." Vanas narrowed his eyes and nodded his head. Reclining in his chair.

Hisha had a smile all the while, satisfied with the show he was given.

[You don't seem disturbed by any of this anymore]

HTC commented, realizing how well its host was taking in all the gore and gruesome methods his harem members had to engage in to win.

'The fact that those who I share even if it's a bit of a connection are one of the craziest when it gets to the arena.'

[It has been the case for a while now]

'Let's just watch how well she changes the tides.'

Solara nudged Zui to the side, urging her to take note of Pesa.

"Her weapon is her eyes..." Solara whispered to Zui.

Listening in on their conversation, Alta interjected, "if only they had their other senses heightened, they wouldn't need their useless eyes now."

Zui cringed at the maniacal laughter coming off Alta at the two at the mercy of Pesa.

"Weaklings! Unable to deduce their opponent's strength and weaknesses before being caught in the web!" She spat as though it concerned her deeply.

Solara shook her head and turned back her attention to the arena. "We already know who the winner is, it all boils down to if Pesa would let them go, especially Piteia."

"Slow and agonizing death to her!" Alta whooped and hollered on for Pesa.

Her hyperactive attitude came as a shock to everyone, the once silent but lethal harem was cheering on yet another special case of a deadly harem.

Murmurs circulated to the rest as they looked at the Solara and Zui with confusion as to how and why they had decided to associate themselves with Alta.

[She seems to be enjoying herself more than ever]

Hisha lightly nodded his head and shook them, happy that she found joy in something other than doing the killing or sexual pleasure.

Pesa yawned, disappointed that her opponents couldn't even fight against her little manipulation.

'I haven't even kicked it up a notch, yet you two had easily swayed?'

"Pathetic." She muttered, clicking her tongue in disappointment.

If she had coated her body with her Sux, only then could she estimate those who could resist her hold.

Getting to her feet, she stretched out her hands and had a wicked grin. "Do I hide a monster? Do I look like one?"

Piteia's eyes widened in horror as she felt herself losing more of her limbs which started to feel as though a ton of weight had been placed on them.

When she tried to speak, only squeaks came out as opposed to her lethal voice when her Sux was activated.

Cupping her ear with her palm, Pesa pretended to have heard a sound other than the squeak. "Did you say I should see what it's like for you to be headless?"

Piteia's eyes bulged at the words, shaking her head, realizing her mistake and begging to be let go.

"Oh! You don't want that?" Pesa took a step forward, looking over at Avina. "Did you mean you'd do it for her instead?"

Avina tried to move her knees but to no avail. Instead, she let out a cry for help from the audience.
