Cough!

Cough!

Siadra's eyes bulge wide open as she realizes Derek wasn't burning the moment she saw the flames quench right before her.

'Who would have thought reading a bit of history on the seven tribes would prove so useful as it is now?' Hisha jokes as he pats his side where the flames were still burning.

Tossing his coat which had been the only thing that had suffered the fire, he lets out a sigh of disappointment at watching the cool coat sizzle away.

"Oh, dear! That felt sooo nice!" Hisha exclaims in happiness, "it's been far too long since my skin has felt this warm."

Vanas' fangs grow longer by the second as he glares at Hisha. "Is that really you, brother?! How dare you to show yourself to us like this!"

Pushing back his hair, Hisha smirks as he addresses Vanas, "you should have expected this, brother. I won't take no for an answer!"

"You're dead!" Vanas barks.

"Apparently not enough," Hisha replies with a laugh.

"What sort of dark magic did you use to bring yourself back to life?!" Vanas yells as he gets to a defensive stance.

"That's it. There's no reason to waste any more time here." Hisha mumbles as he charges toward Vanas.

Whoosh!

Vanas looks to his side, seeing the gleam of red light coming from Derek.

Slash!

"Aaahhh!" Vanas lets out a yell in pain.

Crouching over Siadra, he used his body as a shield to protect her.

'As expected!' Hisha chuckles, kicking Vanas aside as he moves to stand over Siadra.

"Now I shall enjoy the pleasures of killing you myself," Hisha announces.

'C'mon, Vanas, step in!' Hisha wishes he could say.

He had given enough time for Vanas to heal, it was obvious he didn't want to hurt Siadra but wouldn't waste any opportunity to do so if he could get at Vanas.

'The power of love, how powerful yet so weak.' Hisha mocks.

Slash!

'Woah!'

Sidestepping just in time, Hisha raises a brow at the attack from Siadra after she recovered from her shock. 'She's got some pretty good skills.'

"I'll finish you off, Derek! You aren't meant to be alive, not now, not ever!" Vanas shouts, charging toward Hisha.

"Not if I can help it!" Hisha yells back as he dodges yet another swing from Vanas.

Bang!

Bang!

Vanas turns to look at the source of the noise, seeing a group of people coming from the direction of the tavern.

"Come on, don't tell me you've forgotten about these people!" Hisha says.

Vanas switches his gaze from Hisha and the barrier and the silhouette of bodies surrounding it, his eyes widened at what this could mean if they got in.

No one had known of his elder brother that had been favored by their father when they were little.

'This can't be real.' He whispers.

Hisha creates a barrier around Siadra before setting off the barrier.

And then there is a loud explosion as the barrier explodes, sending Vanas flying several feet away into the air, landing on the ground hard.

Crash!

The crowd gasps at numerous corpses being thrown around by the explosion.

"What is going on?" One of the men standing near the tavern asks.

Giving a thought to escaping a situation, he changes the appearance of one of the dead vampires into Kier.

'That should throw them off my track.'

Drac rushes over to the body, kneeling and hugging the corpse. "Kier!!! Noooo!"

Sigh!

'I guess I was able to fool successfully I guess.' He clicks his tongue and has his attention fixated on Vanas.

Towering over a disheveled Vanas, he grabs him by the collar and sneers. "For a Count–the supposed leader of your tribe, you are weak!"

Still, in a dazed state, Vanas mistook Hisha's words for the fact that he had killed his frail elder brother with the help of his only friend–Siadra at the time, to take his place once their father died.

"I know I was wrong, Derek," Vanas mutters, a little out of breath.

Tears trickle down his cheek as he realizes his mistake and probably fate returning to teach him a lesson.

Taking a glance at his side, he could see his wife trapped in a mini barrier that he could only guess that Derek had made before the explosion.

'He still cares, huh?'

A weak smile graced his lips at the little comfort he had gotten from the sight.

Tossing him a great distance away, Hisha watches with his hand over his forehead and smiles at the sight.

[Why did you do that?]

'I am not going to kill him, but humble him and remind him of the reason he has that position.' Hisha replies.

He needed Vanas to recover from his terminal injuries wherever he was tossed to and save his face from his citizens who were still caught up in the aftermath of the explosion.

Without any notice, Hisha creates a large torrent of wind and directs it toward the tavern.

All that remains is a large hole in the building. The roof has been destroyed and parts of the walls are missing.

Cassius stares in shock at his destroyed building, anger slowly building up as his red eyes glow with rage.

"W-what the hell did you do?! Why did you destroy my Tavern?!" Cassius angrily asks as he steps forward, pointing at the stranger.

Hisha looks around with a devilish grin, "now what would you do without this place? I think a new one will be built soon."

With that, Hisha disappears.

Cassius stares at the ground, his fists clenched tightly until he hears a voice behind him.

"Just kidding."

Reappearing, Hisha materialized in front of Cassius with a smile.

Grabbing him by the neck, he channels a fraction of his Sux which immediately stuns the vampire.

Gasp!

Gasp!

Drac pulls out his sword, channeling his red Sux into it, swinging down upon Hisha who easily avoids the blow.

Swoosh!

Dodging left, right, and center, Drac swings again only to miss once more due to Hisha moving too fast.

Grr...

Breathing heavily, Hisha smiles evilly at the young man.

'Nice weaponry skills, but sadly I'm no ordinary 'vampire', Drac.'

Seeing an opening, Hisha lunges forwards using all of his strength, aiming straight for Drac's chest.

Drac brings his hands together forming two blades made entirely of blood, blocking the strike effortlessly but losing his original sword in the process.

Bam!

The other three had stepped forward to defend their leader from yet another strike.

A flash of light appears between them, followed by a burst of Sux erupting from within the blades.

Blowback occurs causing each blade to explode violently.

Each blast sends debris everywhere including hitting both sides of the street where many bystanders have gathered.

Screams fill the streets as everyone tries to avoid getting hit or injured.

'Shit!' Hisha curses, watching the commotion all around.

"The knights! They need to be alerted!" One screamed as he transformed into a bat.

Making a clench of his finger, the bat scrunches like a ball, tiny bone cracking sounds resonate before it is reverted to a bloody mass.

[Gore]

Hisha subconsciously grins as he looks at his stats.

"You vile demon!" Drac barks, channeling even more Sux into his swords making sure none escape.

'Sword fight! Could be fun.' Hisha considers the thought and goes along with it.

Dashing toward Drac's sword laying on the floor, he picks it up and gives it a few swings to test it out.

"Not bad." He praises the work carried out on the weapon and how easy it was to wield.

Drac fumes as he points at Hisha. "You will pay for what you did to my cousin, my fellow vampires, and the Tavern!!!"

Hisha chuckles and teases, "isn't that a lot of people to avenge for little old you?"

"Sir..." One of the men whispers to Drac, slightly skeptical about him choosing to go against such a powerful foe alone.

But Drac ignores him and the rest, turning back to face Hisha. "I had just gotten my cousin and he got discarded like some stale blood?"

He couldn't help but blame himself for letting Kier leave the Tavern.

'This is my fault and I must avenge him!'

"Take care of Cassius and the others, also look for a way to free the Countess," He orders calmly.

They nod in response, dispersing to carry out various tasks.

Turning away, Drac focuses solely on Hisha.
