Ryu's aura suddenly changed. At that moment, his Weapon God Aura began to fluctuate wildly, and it looked as though he was shifting between the sword, the saber, even the rod, again and again.

The form of his great swordstaffs becdifficult to follow, and when he took a step forward, the entirety of the world seemed to both tremble and be reflected in his eyes.

Ryu could still feel it clearly, the weakness of his great swordstaffs. They were great in battles where he had a clear upper hand, but against enemies that were just as strong and sometimes more skilled than himself, there was little to nothing that he could do.

The battle with Starlight was the best example of this. In the end, he had no choice but to abandon his weapons and use close combat skills because his great swordstaff beca limiting factor full of flaws that could be exploited.

He had always known the solution to this. The problem was that he didn't have the tto invest in making it better, and he was too obsessed with fast improvement to find the tto put into it.

However, now, his mentality had changed entirely.

There was no need to give up on close combat because it would always be something that he could use. And because it was his body, he could more easily use it as a medium for his Weapon God Auras.

However, if he wanted to bring out the full potential of his great swordstaffs and make his wife proud, it would take ironing out all those flaws.

As for what the solution was… it was both simple and maybe the most difficult thing he would ever have to do.

If he wanted his great swordstaffs to be rid of their flaws… he would have to create the Tenth Weapon God Aura.

Ryu took another step forward, and the myriad of changes his great swordstaff was undergoing seemed to reach a peak.

It was as the saying went, absence made the love grow fonder. It had been a long tsince Ryu had touched or even thought about his great swordstaffs, and yet that taway, especially considering all the new things he had learned in that time, seemed to allow things to click now that had never clicked before.

His close combat had taught him a lot about positioning, range, and footwork. As a close combat expert, you were almost always against opponents with weapons with greater range than your own. To counter that, you had to outmaneuver them and know when to take the initiative and when to retreat.

In the past, whether it was with his bow or his other weapons, Ryu almost always had the range advantage, so it was simply not something that he had ever thought about until now.

As a close combat expert, the only weapon you had access to was your body, so the overall strength available, even when boosted by talents and other skills, was almost always weaker than if you had used a weapon instead.

To combat this, Ryu had to learn how to maximize his output, using every inch of his body to power every punch thrown and kick swung.

Now, he could feel the efficiency of his body reaching another level entirely.

When he swung his great swordstaffs, he could feel a powerful energy rocketing up his legs, following the turn of his hips and the flex of his torso. By the tthat power got to his arms and extended outward, it was easily three times more powerful than it would be otherwise.

It felt like everything he had learned was almost carelessly being filled into his current combat strength, and with every passing second, he grew stronger and stronger.

The skies around him were filled with blade auras that crisscrossed, shook the earth, and sundered the clouds.

Ryu continuously walked forward, his body bending and erupting like a bow with every strike. By spoint, just his simple steps forward alone were enough to shatter space.

The twins were so oppressed that they didn't have tto realize that until now, Ryu hadn't even begun to use his other abilities to support his great swordstaffs.

It was more like he wanted to truly feel his blade, to feel the pull of Faith around him and what changes it could bring.

It was right then that an arm went flying into the air.

The fused humanoid the twins had beclet out a mournful shriek that sounded like the layering of two voices.

Ryu didn't seem to notice at all, the amusement having long faded from his eyes.

It wasn't enough. He was still so far from forming a God Aura. His current self could pick out so many flaws.

'Givemore. Last longer.'

CHI! CHI! CHI! CHI! CHI!

Ryu's assault was relentless, flowing like water and yet thundering like a heavy waterfall. When one blade finished its swift stroke, a second would fall, and then another.

Ryu knew that he could just use his Cosmos Fog to break free of these constraints, but he knew that any God Aura formed under such circumstances would be bound to be weaker because, unlike his Bloodlines, there was no template for the great swordstaff just yet.

If he wanted to make one, it had to be one that could stand on its own even without his Cosmos Fog. Only then could he bring it into his world and bring it to a whole other level.

A leg was severed and spiraled into the air.

Blood flew and arched with menace, while Ryu was like a butcher rising through the skies like a deity. The dichotomy was enough to make one sick to their stomachs.

Ryu parried their sword with one strike and pierced right through their chest with another. He released the handle as though he was using their body to keep his great swordstaff upright and grabbed their neck.

He stood there in silence, his indifference coloring the skies.
